The 5 best bike stores in Atlanta right now
Local routes that you should be aware of
Are you unsure of the best places to ride? We like this route with in Roswell/Alpharetta and Northern Georgia area since it’s so scenic. If you keep an eye on this page, we’ll let you know where the best rides are.
3-Gap The Exhausting Route
You can, of course, choose for a simple 3-Gap ride. And it’s fine if your hall pass restricts you to two or two and a half hours. However, if you want to achieve significant gains, you must ride 3-Gap in its entirety. You read that correctly: you must ride Hogpen. Rather than taking a left to travel up Neels Gap (Blood Mountain), begin at the boulder pile and proceed east before turning right to begin climbing Hogpen. To get it to the Richard Russell Scenic Highway, take 75A and turn left. For the final five miles back to the car, take advantage of the descent on Hogpen, Wolfpen, and Woody’s. On the way home, stop at the new Chipotle near the Outlet Mall. The 54.5-mile ride, which involves rising 6,000 feet in altitude in just over four hours, will call for it.

Hey, all I am Joe Marino I love to ride bikes and teach others how to ride them. Most of my articles are about which bike is best for others. I am passionate about cycling and it shows, whether I am writing about a $25 bicycle from any random website or a $5000 Santa Cruz.
I have always been the guy who gets calls from friends while at work asking which bike they should buy. I have written about the best city bike for commuting, the best folding bike for use on public transit, and even what to keep in mind when shopping for kids’ bikes.
